| ADMINISTRATIVE |
Marcia Kiraly - Director
Marcia received her M.A. in Education from Ball State University. She has been involved in Education for over 25 years teaching in the area of Family Consumer Science and Child Psychology. Marcia and her family have been longtime residents of Glenview and they are members of GCC. She and her husband have two daughters. She and her family enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, biking, walking/running and water gardening.
This is Marcia’s 6th year as the Director of GCCNS!

Julie Dinelli - Office
Manager
Julie was a music major at Milliken University. She has had extensive experience in administrative work before joining our staff at GCCNS. She and her family live in Glenview and her two children are alums of GCCNS. This is Julie’s 8th year as office manager at GCCNS!

Wendy Anker - MA/LSW, Classroom Consultant
Wendy received her degree in Psychotherapy from the University of Michigan. For the past 30 years, Wendy has worked with teachers and their classrooms in Elementary Schools, Preschools and Daycares throughout the North Shore. She also does extensive work with young children and families within the private sector. Wendy and her husband reside on the North Shore and have to 2 teenagers! Wendy is beginning her 23rd year with GCCNS!

Kathy Cepa - Junior & Senior Team / Above & Beyond
Kathy comes to GCCNS with 21 years of experience with children in a variety of settings! She has 58 hours in ECE as well as 6 years teaching Preschool, experience working in a Daycare setting and she ran an In-home Daycare for 15 years. Mrs. Cepa grew up and has raised her family in Glenview. This is Kathy’s 6th year at GCCNS!

Susan Hedrick - Senior Team
Susan received a B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Development from National-Louis University. She taught preschool for many years in Winnetka before coming to GCCNS. Susan is a singer/songwriter who enjoys performing in the community. Gardening and reading are favorite hobbies in her spare time. Susan lives with her daughter who recently graduated from Western Michigan University and is an alum of GCCNS! Her son and his wife live in Wooddale with their 2 children. Susan has taught preschool for 26 years. This is her 21st year teaching at GCCNS!

Sally Hinz - Senior Team
Sally received her B.A. degree in Family Development from the University of Iowa. She has over 21 years of Early Childhood Education experience including 11 years at Lutheran General Children’s Day Care.
Sally and her husband have three children and are long time residents of Glenview. Their daughter is an alumna of GCCNS. Sally enjoys gardening and reading. She is in her 14th year at GCCNS!

Kimberly Mooshil - Junior Team / Senior Team / KinderQuest / Above & Beyond
Kim is a student at Northeastern Illinois University continuing her studies in Early Childhood Education. She has extensive volunteer experience on the preschool level and has also taught an art class at a private school in Chicago. Kim loves working with preschoolers and planning classroom activities – especially art projects. She enjoys reading, scrap-booking and spending time with her family. She lives on the northwest side of Chicago with her husband and their daughter. This is her 8th year teaching at GCCNS!

Shannon Dowdle - Junior Team / Above & Beyond
Shannon has her BS in Education and Early Childhood Education/ Special Education. She has 3 years of teaching experience in the public school system and 19 years of experience raising six children! Shannon and her husband Rick live in Glenview, have participated extensively in community activities and sports over the past 20 years and all of their children are alums of GCCNS! And, Shannon was “room mom” for several of her children!
This is Shannon’s 3rd year at GCCNS!

Marci Hartley - Junior Team
Marci has her BS in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin. Marci comes to us with 5 years of teaching experience! Marci volunteers her time as a Preschool Sunday School teacher, a room parent for her 2 daughters, and a Daisy Leader. While at the Univ. of Wisconsin, Marci was on the Women’s Gymnastics Team who won a NCAA 1st Place title! She and her family live in Glenview and enjoy skiing, softball, golf and spending time together. This is Marci’s 3rd year at GCCNS!

Judy Nuccio - Junior Team
Judy received her B.A. degree in Education from Northeastern Illinois University. She taught in a suburban parochial school for seven years before leaving to start a family. She and her husband are longtime residents of Glenview and have two children, both alums of GCCNS. The quality, nurturing environment she and her children experienced at GCCNS prompted Judy to resume her teaching career at GCCNS. This is Judy’s 18th year teaching preschool at GCCNS!

Mary Beth Peterson - Junior Team
Mary Beth received her B.S. in Medical Technology from St. Norbert College. She researched many diseases including HIV at Abbott Laboratories, after which she returned to school to complete her hours in Early Childhood Education. She has six years of teaching experience with young children. She and her husband are longtime residents of Glenview and have one child. This is Mary Beth’s 6th year at GCCNS!

| 2 YEAR OLD TEAM |
Laura Dillon - 2 Year Old Team / KinderQuest
Laura comes to GCCNS with a MA in Elementary Education from National Louis University. She taught for 14 years in Kenilworth. Laura will be teaching all sections of the ON MY OWN. She and her husband live in Glenview. They enjoy 3 children, all of whom are alums of GCCNS! In her spare time Laura enjoys playing golf, scrap booking, reading and spending time with her family. This is Laura’s 5th year teaching at GCCNS!

Camille Lomardo –Teacher Assistant and Sitter Service
Camille comes to GCCNS with Early Childhood Education coursework from Oakton Community College, 11 years of Preschool teaching experience and 21 years of in-home day care experience. Camille is our beloved “Sitter Service Lady” as well as a permanent substitute in the classrooms. Camille also works in the On My Own rooms during first month of transition to the new school environment for 2 year olds. During January – May, Camille is the Assistant Teacher in the PT >>> On My Own class. Camille and her husband have lived in Glenview for 41 years where they have raised their 4 children and are helping to raise 2 of their 7 grandchildren. In her spare time, Camille enjoys swimming in her pool and relaxing with a good book! This is Camille’s 5th year at GCCNS!

Meredith McKinley - 2 Year Old Team
Meredith comes to GCCNS with a BA from Denison University and a M.Ed. from DePaul University in Elementary Education. Meredith has taught 1st – 2nd grades, as well as taught summer camp programs. Meredith is beginning her 5th year in the classroom. Meredith will be teaching in the On My Own classroom on Monday/Tuesday with Laura Dillon. She and her husband have lived in Glenview for 10 years and have 3 children- all of whom attended GCCNS! Meredith is an avid runner participating in ½ marathons! She also plays tennis, enjoys reading and spending family time biking and golfing! This is Meredith’s 2nd year teaching at GCCNS!

Carol Schmitt - 2 Year Old Team / Lunch Bunch Storytime
Carol received an CDA Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Oakton Community College. She has spent her entire career as a preschool teacher at GCCNS and has worked in every program including Parent/Toddler, juniors and seniors and Extended Day. Carol is an avid golfer and also enjoys quilting, counted cross-stitch, gardening and volunteering at Wagner Farm. She and her husband have three children and they are the proud grandparents of 9 grandchildren! This is Carol’s 23rd year teaching at GCCNS!

| ENRICHMENT TEAM |
Debbie Berg - Music Enrichment - 4 Year Olds
Debbie received a B.A. degree in Speech and
Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign. She
received her Master’s degree
in Speech/Language Pathology from the same university. Debbie was
a speech pathologist at Lake Forest Hospital for fifteen years.
She teaches “Music and Movement” at Creative Kids Corner
in Evanston as well as ”Musically Speaking” for children
with special needs. Debbie and her husband Doug have three children,
all alums of GCCNS. Debbie is a tennis player and also enjoys walking
and spending time with her children. This is Debbie’s 10th
year as music teacher at GCCNS!
