Parents- are you looking for a program for your Kindergartener to extend their learning opportunities? KinderQuest is your answer!
KinderQuest offers opportunities for children to explore, enrich and extend their Kindergarten experience while becoming engaged in a rich learning environment. Children will work individually and cooperatively to explore, experience and create through hands-on activities.
KinderQuest is divided into two sessions per year. Each thematic unit includes activities in science, language arts, math, social studies, reading, art and cooking. Thematic units may include, but are not limited to:

The Teachers
KinderQuest is taught by Laura Dillon and Kim Mooshil, both teachers at GCCNS!
Laura Dillon has her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa in Elementary Education with her focus in Early Childhood. Laura received her Master's degree from National Louis University and is her 16th year of education.
Kim Mooshil has extensive volunteer experience on the preschool level and has also taught an art class at a private school in Chicago. Kim is a student at Northeastern Illinois University continuing her studies in Early Childhood Education. Kim loves working with preschoolers and planning classroom activities – especially art projects.
Laura and Kim are excited to be teaching KinderQuest together, providing fun and exciting ways to add to your kindergartener's knowledge and experience during their first year in elementary school!
