SENIORS
Four Years Old By 9/1/07
The "Seniors" continue to grow
in their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Early concepts
in
math, science, literacy, and problem-solving are explored through experiences
outdoors and inside the classroom. The curriculum is further extended through
parent participation and various community programs, some of which include
the Fire Department and the Library. Engaging the older preschoolers in
these individual and group activities develops their confidence and readiness
for more structured learning, providing a comfortable kindergarten transition.
