Age: Four years by September 1st

The Seniors continue to grow in their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Early concepts in math, science, literacy, and problem-solving are explored through experiences outdoors and inside the classroom. The curriculum is further extended through parent participation and various community programs, some of which include the Fire Department and the Library. Engaging the older preschoolers in these individual and group activities develops their confidence and readiness for more structured learning, providing a comfortable kindergarten transition.

PARENTS- envision being able to send your Senior child to school every day with their lunch from 12-3, have time to take your younger children home, put them down for a nap and have a chunk of time for yourself?

Well, that vision can become your reality! This next school year, GCCNS is offering a class for Senior children that begins at 12:00- the children bring their lunch to school, eat with their classmates, enjoy class time activities and end their day on the playground at 3:00.

Parents have time to put younger children down for a nap, have time for themselves and the 12:00-3:00 time works with the school bus schedules of older children! How perfect can life be?!!!
