The Winnetka Alliance for Early Childhood is proud to announce the 16th annual community-wide TV Tune Out Week, taking place Sunday, March 7 through Saturday, March 13, 2010.

During the Week more than 5,000 area children, preschoolers through 8th graders, and their families, are invited to turn off their televisions, computers, and video screens and explore other interests by participating in creative, informative and engaging activities hosted by more than 75 businesses and organizations throughout the North Shore.

As an alternative to TV and other screen-based media, children can choose from a variety of activities going on in the community, as well as ideas for projects and games to do at home.
